What is home to you?

I always think about what makes me feel like home. A song, a look, a smell. I’ve always heard that home is where the heart is. That is so true!

Growing up, I lived with my mom and dad, until the divorce in 1983. My mom then raised me alone. We moved from town to town, but my mom kept the house. I moved back to the house in Dallas, Texas When I had my oldest son.

This is my mom, sister and myself.

We were all very close and we would laugh for hours. Just being goofy. That made me feel like home.

The smell of my moms perfume makes me feel like home. There are so many things I could say that make me feel like home.
